Nikki, I am sure that there are many effects of VE and I wonder if parents
are informed by physicians, or sent home to find out for themselves.

I found some other warnings about vacuum deliveries.  I wonder if any your
hospitals  a have  a protocol for these babies.  LC's see the devastating
effect on breastfeeding behavior, but does anyone else take it seriously?  I
hear parents being told that it is nothing, and the babies do not even feel
pain.
