<<I have a client who has been on Reglan for 3 weeks, she is pumping every
3
hours during waking hours and only getting 4 oz/24 hours.. Any info on who
long Reglan takes to increase supply, etc, would be appreciated.>>

An increase should be seen within 3-5 days. If we don't see an increase
within a week, we generally tell mom to stop it. Now, this assumes mom is
on an appropriate pumping or feeding schedule (and if not, there is also no
point in continuing the med). I would be curious about the reason for
Reglan, the age of the baby, what is "waking hours"--does this mean 6x/day?
