Who said paroxetine is not recommended during breastfeeding? The PDR?
We now know that paroxetine is extremely highly protein bound (>99%).
We also know that it has a high volume of distribution. Less than 1% of
the total paroxetine in the mother's body is in her blood, and it is the
blood levels which determine how much gets excreted into the milk.

Sertraline (Zoloft) is a good choice as well. (See Hale, see New
England Journal, 1997, April 17, letter describing study).
