I just read why the cloned sheep got named Dolly. From our Miami Herald
this AM:
"Dolly Parton is cool with the fact that the cloned sheep, Dolly, was so
named because the DNA came from a mammary gland cell and, in the words
of a researcher, "no one could think of a more impressive se of mammary
glands" than the country star's. "Even though its controversial, I'm
honored. There's no such thing as 'baaaad' publicity," Parton said.
Now we know. If it had come from a muscle cell, I wonder if they would
have named it Arnold?
I'm taking this tid bit to our Task Force meeting today, along with the
Ezzo stuff. Thank for the Ezzo ammunition.
