For those of you who were interested in the Ottawa Citizen newspaper article
by Dr Dworkin, where he recommended formula supplementing for everything
from tired mothers to sore nipples;

Jack Newman and I were interviewed by telephone for a full "Special Section"
article to run this Saturday. Why? "We were surprised by the amount of
interest that arose from Dr Dworkin's articles." In other words, they were
inundated with letters (I know of a minimum of 20 by mothers and lactation
specialists)! Thanks to all of you who were a part of this.

The questions were:
- do lactation advocates make mothers feel guilty?
- are mothers "bullied into breastfeeding"? (no bias here, right?)
- do health professionals have the training they need to support bfg
mothers?
- why do mothers quit?

Michelle Bentley
(they tracked me down as an APL for LLLCanada)
