Kathryn:

I can tell that you feel very strongly about this and I'm not going to try to
convince you otherwise because you've made up your mind. However, for the
rest of you I'm getting the references so you can make an informed descision
about what you will believe. In the meantime you can refer to Craniosacral
Therapy By John Upledger and Jon Vredevoogd And Craniosacral Therapy II:
Beyond the Dura by John Upledger. Both are available from the Upledger
Institute, 11211 Prosperity Farms Road, Suite D-325, PAlm Beach Gardens, FL
33410.

Isn't this a similar situation as we find ourselves in with breastfeeding
where new information comes to light and it takes awhile before it is
accepted ad fact? Correct me if I'm wrong, but sont's anthropologists and
archaeologists work on very old dead people? Isn't it possible the the skull
undergoes some kind of transformation as it lies in the dirt for so many
years that makes it imposiible to distiguish between sutures and bone?

I have seen slides of magnified sutures of a very old but freshly dead
skeleton. The Bones are not fused and the suture tissue still exists. Now,
the bones have fingers that hook into one another but they are not fused into
one solid piece and they are still moveable. Look at an exploded skull
sometime..These fingers are very noticeable.

I will get the references and share them with you all, but if you ever have a
chance to see a cranial therapist work, I advise you to do so because seeing
the results of therapy opens up whole new worlds of treatment approaches for
LCs and provides a whole new pathway of understanding about how infant suck
works.
