Dear all,

We understand the frustrations with the switch in addresses, etc. We are
getting flooded with emails to the lactnet-request addresses asking things
that have been posted to the list already. Plus we are hearing from people
who are nomail and haven't received the updates. We know that the footer
and welcome note need to be changed. I believe that the old addresses still
work for the time being, except for the archives and Rachel posted the
correct URL for those just this morning.

I hope to get the other things changed over the weekend. Please remember
that those of us who run Lactnet are volunteers with full time jobs and
families. I teach at an elementary school all day and then come home to 3
teenagers who need help with homework and transportation to various
activities. Rachel, Kathleen and Karleen have similar schedules.

Please, if you are in desperate need of something, you can email us but also
realize that we are getting swamped!

If we had known about this change we would have been more prepared, but as
it was, we learned about it just as you were and we still have not sorted
out all of the bugs.

Asking for patience!!

Kathy
