Kathy B., you wrote

<I wonder how many of you have had an experience like I have had.> <Has
anyone ever felt as though they had turned a mother off with what they
felt was good information and encouragement, and that they then had the
word
"ZEALOT" branded on their forehead?>

Many, many times.

Once, in the really OLDEN days, at least 30 or more years age, as the
night nursery nurse, I took a baby out to a mom THREE times on the night
shift.

The day nurse, accompanying the doctor on rounds, heard the mother
mention this. Her remark? "Oh, Miss PUSH was on!"
