It always amazes me that both mothers and the health care providers

(and now politicians) in the US only look at this as a mothers' right 

to choose issue and not a baby's right to choose issue.

 

If babies could lobby they would show their preference for the good

tasting stuff-their mother's milk, over formula.  All parents should be 

made to taste the artificial baby milks, especially the soy, to know

how bad they taste and smell.  It is the old cookie illustration, store

bought vs homemade, which would you reach for?  If babies could

talk they would ask "Why are you punishing me?"

 

Somehow babies need to lobby for their birthright of their mothers' milk.

 

(Even pet owners indulge their pets and give their dogs/cats their

favorite brand foods.)
