Dear Amy,

We had a similar situation when our daughter was a newborn.
She had a terrible reaction to iron.

See if the vitamins contain iron. If seems to upset the infants 
digestive system causing "colicky" symptoms.


After about 2 days of not taking the iron she was not as "colicky" and 
much easier to console. 

I was in the process of becoming a leader at the time she was born and 
am thankful I was so involved with LLL and able to get the help we 
needed.


ALSO...
I have been meaning to mention I just returned from our Wisconsin Area 
Conference this week.   Katherine Dettwyler was the featured speaker 
at our lunch and presented sessions during the conference.

Katherine is a wonderfully interesting speaker and I throughly enjoyed 
the keynote speech and the session on "A Time to Wean".
