So, with all the talk about the code and this conference I am confused.
For starters - the hospital that I work at has a contract with Medela for pumps. When getting this contract the hospital added a plan to their package. The plan included - more pump kits, NICU pump cards and this conference. Because the conference is included in the plan no one (attendents) has to pay out of the pocket for it. So, my question is - is it against the code to attended the conference. I do want to attendent because I want to know what the information is that my staff will be getting from the conference.
Please help. My head is spinning.
