On this subject, there is an article :

Family Violence and Breast-feeding
Louise Acheson
Arch Fam Med. 1995;4:650-652

Here is the abstract :
"A retrospective review of medical records was conducted for 800
pregnancies followed up to delivery in one family practice. The review
revealed a previously unsuspected association between lack of
breast-feeding and sexual abuse of the woman and/or her children. This
anecdotal association, not previously reported, is worth studying using
more rigorous methods".

I have also a story a mother sent to "Allaiter aujourd'hui" (which means
Breastfeeding today), the quarterly of La Leche League France. She had her
baby at home. The baby did not know/want to suck. During four days she did
not suckle and had only the milk which flew all by itself. The midwife was
worried and said the mother had to force the baby. Suddenly the mother
began to cry and to remember her past, in particular when her brother had
slept with her and caressed her breasts. She cried and cried, and the day
after the baby latchted for the first time...
