Good Day,
I felt the need to share this story with you all. I was snuggling my 6 year
old son the other night at bedtime, with us was his 7 month old sister who
was nursing. My son weaned at 5 1/2 years after his baby sister came home
from the hospital. At the time he complained that the milk tasted "yucky".
It was a smooth weaning, both of us got a bit teary eyed when he told me "we
had a good thing going huh mom?"

Now time has passed and the other night he brought up that he really liked
to nurse but Isabel "switched" the milk. I asked him what it tasted
like...he said "strawberry poptarts", who knew!?
