Had to chime in here.
One of my clients could not bf baby number 2. She was an avid and enthusiastic mom with 2.4 years of bfg experience so we knew there must be an issue, and we discovered the tt.
She then proceeded to tell us that when she was a young girl, her own tt had torn while French kissing her boyfriend!!
(hmmmm, is French kissing called French kissing in France?) 
Anyhow, so whenever I have a mom whose baby has a tt, and is not necessarily having bfg problems, I always tell her that this is also an outcome that can be prevented!!
