Reading Ann's posts on thumb sucking and her experience of overabundant milk
started me thinking about something I've often wondered about, and now have
the opportunity to ask lots of experts. In your experience, have you noticed
a link between tandem nursing and oversupply? I personally experienced
oversupply with my second bf experience (while tandem nursing), but not my
first, and have talked with a number of women who have had trouble with
oversupply while tandem nursing. I can't remember whether Anna Utter
addresses this in her oversupply information and will take a look. Tandem
nursing isn't very common where I live so it isn't something I get asked
about, but am just curious if others have noticed anything. If this is
something discussed previously, please let me know and I'll go searching the
archives instead of continuing this post. Thanks.
