I used to be a WIC BFPC, and I did weigh babies on occasion.  As far as I know 
no one had a problem with that.  Lots of times during my bf classes mothers 
would want to know what their babies weighed, I was available and had access to 
the same scale the baby had been weighed on previously.  Many moms are just 
curious what their baby weighs.
