Dear Friends:

Hospital staff that take care of mothers in the first days postpartum often
complain. They complain that mothers from "X" country won't breastfeed. The
staff report that the mothers claim "no milk" or "bad milk" or "not enough
milk".

True, we have to keep mothers from certain cultures and countries very
warm. Otherwise, they won't breastfeed. They know their milk has been
contaminated by the cold, and that it is bad for their baby. (The cold OR of
a cesarean section is the kiss of death to early breastfeeding for such
women.)

Remember too, that when babies go heart to heart right away, first thing,
many of these complaints in the first few days would vanish.
.
Now what happens when a baby is deemed "hypoglycemic" or "jaundiced" or
"loosing too much weight" by the pediatric experts???

-----------------------------------------------------------------------?

They don't believe in colostrum, either.

warmly,
Nikki Lee
