Hi everybody.
I have a question that I have been asked a couple of times now for which I can't
find a good answer. If a mom consumes alcohol (i.e. at her friends bachelorette
party!), how long does she need to wait before it is safe to breastfeed her baby
and should she "pump and dump" for a certain amount of time? I had heard that
the level of alcohol in breastmilk comes down with the serum ETOH level, but
since I don't have a reference, I wanted to check.
Thanks!
