Dear colleagues:

For those of you using or referring mothers to my article, "Frequently
Asked Questions About Vitamin D, Sunlight, and Breastfeeding," I want to
let you know that it has been recently updated on the vitamin D page of my
website. The content has not changed substantially (I had typed in a few
quotes slightly incorrectly when I first posted to Lactnet which I didn't
catch then and didn't catch when I first changed it to an article on my
website), but I do want to be sure that the most current version is always
used.

For the record, the following uses of "Frequently Asked Questions About
Vitamin D, Sunlight, and Breastfeeding" are approved by me as long as the
article is reproduced *in full* (all text appearing from the top of the
white box it appears in to the bottom), the *current* version is always
used (available from my website; click "refresh" to make sure an old
version isn't cached on your computer), and *no profit* is derived from its
use:

1. Posting on a bulletin board for healthcare providers or mothers to see.
2. Handing out occasionally to healthcare providers to educate them about
vitamin D.
3. Handing out occasionally to mothers with questions about vitamin D.

Any other use of "Frequently Asked Questions About Vitamin D, Sunlight, and
Breastfeeding" requires my permission.

Also for the record, I am unable to give permission for the reproduction of
my article, "Sunlight Deficiency and Breastfeeding," because LLLI holds the
copyright. Any reproduction or transmission of the text of that article
must be approved by LLLI. The full text of that article is, however,
available via my website and from the LLLI website. I am also unable to
give permission for the reproduction of my article, "Sunlight Deficiency: A
Review of the Literature," because Mothering magazine currently holds the
rights to its exclusive use. However, the full text of that article is also
available via my website and from the Mothering magazine website.

I'm still swamped with vitamin D inquiries, so if I haven't replied to
anyone's inquiry, thank you for your patience!

Best wishes,

Cynthia
