Guys, someone's pulling your leg.  The only way to remove the pituitary
gland is from a cadaver.

Perhaps she had a pituitary tumor removed?  In any case, by definition,
panhypopituitarism means that there is a deficiency in all of the
hormones from the anterior pituitary, of which prolactin is one.
Depending upon how low her prolactin is, she may or may not be able to
bring in her milk supply.  I would definitely NOT encourage her toward
Reglan or Domperidone without a very knowledgeable endocrinologist being
involved.
