Hi Kathleen
First of all, congratulations at being a non nurse LC at a hospital. That  is 
truly something to be proud of, there not many of you.
There is an article in AWHONN Lifelines, October 2002, vol 6, number 5,  
pages 418-423, "A useful Algorithm for Nurses on a Mother Baby Unit Promoting  
Breastfeeding." It does not cover everything but it may be a great place for you  
to start with your staff.
