I have recently gotten a call from an expectant mom who works an a Nuclear
Medicine Tech in the Air Force. She has been doing other duties during her
pregnancy but will have to return to working directly with 5 - 7 patients
per day while they are being given radioactive substances in preparation for
testing. She wonders if breastfeeding will be possible after returning to
work or if there would be a danger for the baby due to her closeness to
radioactive materials. Has anyone got an answer for her?

Thanks in advance
