Chris,

Do all the smokers have to clock out for every smoking break?

In lieu of at least one of the pumpings, she could use 1 or 2 a regular
bathroom breaks daily for a short session of hand expression of a few
cc's in the privacy of the stall. This will trigger the MER and help her
avoid leaking/plugged ducts till her breasts adjust. Sort of like reverse
cycle feeding.

Meanwhile, pumping 1-2 ounces before a feeding, or feeding one side, and
pumping 1-2 ounces from the other several times every day, especially on
her days off, while she is home with the baby will help her build up more
bottles and keep her total supply adjusted to the demand. It seems to
work well for many of our WIC mothers who find difficulty managing 3
pumpings at work.

Might help to have the sitter give smaller bottles more slowly a little
oftener so that baby is not getting overfed at the sitters and "full"
bottles won't be quite such an issue.
