Trying to use "shorthand" for my thoughts gets me in trouble once more! You
are perfectly right, Jan in helping me out here with what I meant to say. ;-)
I feel a little passionate about this subject for good reason and the main
point I want to make is that being an nurse AND IBCLC is such a great help
and asset no matter how long one has been either, it will be complimentary
and become integrated into the practice of each. All M/B nurses need a
knowledge base of lactation management and I wholeheartedly agree about the
"initials" being confusing to mothers and other HCPs.
