Subject: Nursing mother accused of sexual abuse

I know this is a bit off topic, but I really need help from anyone who has
had
experience with this kind of situation.

My friend has a ( barely) 5 year old daughter who still nurses once or twice
a
day.
Tonight at 9:30 pm, a social worker interrupted a family holiday party to
inform my friend that she was being investigated for suspected sexual abuse
of
her daughter because she still breastfeeds her. My friend was shocked and
humiliated in front of her holiday guests as this social worker asked her
all
kinds of questions, and promised to return next week with another
investigator.

First of all, what are these parents rights ? Do they need an attorney at
this
time ?

What can this family do, and are there any experts out there in the field of
breastfeeding who can provide proof which would satisfy social services that
this is a normal, natural, healthy relationship ? My friend and her husband
are  wonderful, caring parents of 5 children, and should not have to be
subjected to this kind of harrassment.
