Having Princess Grace of Monaco speak at an earlier LLL Conference was a
huge boost to the image of breastfeeding! She was a graceful, lovely woman,
embracing the image of breastfeeding her children.

Celebrities are so often the target of "public interest" yes, it would
indeed be wonderful to have breastfeeding portrayed positively!

Teen moms are also targets of "public interest" and I encourage them to
breastfeed, as well. If people are going to be talking about you anyways,
wouldn't it be nice if they were saying, "Wow! She's breastfeeding her
baby!"

Best wishes,

This is, obviously, written very tongue-in-cheek, but heaven knows, what we
have been doing so far really isn't working very well. Maybe it's because
we're not taking the right approach. Let's try appealing to a mother's
vanity rather than appealing to her sense of what's right for her baby and
see if we have better results.
