Hi to all,
A mother of a 4 month old baby asked me a question and I'd like you help,
please. The baby is exclsively breastfed, gaining well (20# now). The
mother has been drinking "alot" of nonalcoholic strawberry daqueries, and
now the baby's bowel movements are staining clothes, etc., which they
never did before (however, no other changes in frequency, color,
texture, etc. of the stool). She wondered if the unusually high acid
level she is taking in (I do not know how much of the drink/day) may
cause a change in the baby's stool. We did talk about the breasts not
being a sieve for the strawberries, but I didn't know about the rest.
Help, please?
