Isn't it also possible that the experienced breastfeeding mother of many
babies might, for her 8th one, get the baby who's clueless about
breastfeeding, who has a sucking problem and isn't stimulating a good supply?
Every baby is different, but we tend to think that each new one will be like
our last, and moms also tend to assume that if there's not enough milk, it
must be their own aging, tired bodies. Certainly having little time to sit
still and nurse could be part of the problem, along with just not being able
to pay close attention to what the new baby is doing at the breast. But it
could be the baby.

And as for ER--IMO-THO (In My Off-Topic Humble Opinion) apart from how
completely nuts it is for a new mother of twins to be back at work at 6 weeks
in an emergency room, especially with a doc father who should be coughing up
child support--isn't Carol destined for that really cute new doc with the
European accent who we found out recently is a widower? Who needs George
Clooney--except, as I said, for child support?
