Hi,

Actually, my grand-daughter was born with laryngomalacia. She was the
4th child for my daughter-in-law, and the first for my son. My DIL had
nursed her first 3 in the typical un-informed way so many American Moms
do, which was very little. Needless to say, she was much better
informed when Kallin was born, plus, they made too much money for WIC,
which meant they would have to pay for any formula which made it a real
incentive for the Mom to breastfeed. Kallin breastfed for 16 mos and
had no problems. She made funny whistling sounds during much of her
first few months, but was very healthy. When she does get ill, she
usually wheezes , even now, and she will be 4 at the end of March.
Breastfeeding went very well, and was never a problem. I would be happy
to talk with the Mom, or with you, and I'm sure my son and DIL would
also. She is a happy, healthy, extremely intelligent child, and we have
lot's of fun with her. I could find nothing about it either. It is
certainly no problem with breastfeeding.

It is raining cats and dogs, as they say in English here in Oregon. I
just love Winter!
