I have a client who asked for a 2 week prescription for diflucan and
was told that the "new formulation" did the same thing in one easy
pill.  She aquiesced, but reluctantly, and after explaining to both
pharmacist and dr that this was for nipple yeast, not vaginal yeast,
and that the nipple protocol called for 2 weeks of treatment.  She's
happy to go back and get it right, and I said I'd check with lactnet
first.  No substitute for the longterm course, right?
