I totally agree, Jean, this can really be a wake-up call. Now what we need
are for the rest of us who are communicators or have connections with
emergency planning folk (or both) to take this research tie it in to recent
local disasters in our areas. Blog, tweet, forward, contact your local
media (especially if you have a local anecdote that is relevant that you
can share! I know I've heard lots of these stories on Lactnet over the
