Please tell your client about the Yahoo group POFAK [Parents of Food
Allergic Kids]. There are scores of moms in POFAK who have breastfed
successfully while doing an elimination diet, including me. It can be *very*
overwhelming when your child is diagnosed as multiply food allergic, esp.
with the list she has, and unfortunately most doctors can't give a parent
practical advice. For example, they'll tell you to eliminate wheat, but not
how to substitute safe flours in your baking, or that a lot of soy sauces
have wheat, etc. The group usually has a waiting list, but the moderators
often will grant immediate access if the parent has an urgent need like in
