I have been called a "lactitioner" and a "lactose nurse."

A few months ago, I called a local radio station to participate in a
contest. They asked about my profession, and when I told them that I was a
lactation consultant, they started talking about how alot of people are
lactose intolerant. When I told them that I helped women breastfeed, they
asked why women would need help--what is so difficult about breastfeeding.
Well, I lost the contest, but I was able to educate the public about
breastfeeding--if only for a brief moment :o)

Have your colleagues ever called you a "booby nurse?"
