(SNIP) How about: the only Dr. who was sympathetic to breastfeeding and
Baby Friendly being black.  Meaning no disrespect but that he was the
only such person in the room ("not the norm", or "different"? may be the
association).  Hooray for him, at any rate.(SNIP)

I understand the black doctor character is the ER/Lead Pediatrician.
