How long does it/can it take for a women's menstrual periods to return
after weaning? I have a client who gradually weaned her breastfeeding
baby at 9 months of age. Now, six months later, her periods still have
not returned. She is not pregnant. She was on hormone treatment to
induce a period, but no response. No history of infertility. Regular
periods before pregnancy. I understand 85% of women will experience a
return of memses with 6 months of weaning? What about the other 15%?.
Is this related to breastfeeding, or just coincidental?
