Yes, I did recommend a castor oil pack. Usually I recommend them in conjunction with emptying the breast. I am wondering if the castor oil pack would work without emptying the breast. What I suggested was 20 minutes of castor oil  followed by massage in conjunction with soaking breast in bath tub and hand expression also in conjunction with massage, just not sure about moving the plug through. When you massage a plug are you kind of busting it up and then extruding it through the breast???? Is it okay to leave it inside after you work on it or to resolve it do you need to move it through and out. If she leaves it in place is she at risk for an abscess? Not to mention increasing pain...
