Got a telephone call from an LLLL who was asked by a breastfeeding mom if she
can breastfeed with olanzapine.

She has an 11 day old baby, totally breastfed. She has suffered from
Obsessive-compulsive disorder and her Psychiatrist has just prescribed this
medication to "allow her to sleep better". She did not take it during her
pregnancy and doesn't want to begin taking it unless she can breastfeed with it.

If this is not possible, are there any other meds she could use - she asked.
