Well, I think it is pretty sad when an IBCLC doesn't care about those things
an IBCLC is supposed to care about as (I thought) it is in our professional
ethics to pay attention to such types of marketing and behavior.and I feel
it in my personal ethics to care about such things as well. I like having
some sense of right and ethical values.

Funny thing is my children (12 and 10) still refuse to eat Nestle products
even tho their father still insists on buying them. He gets very upset when
the kids refuse stating that it doesn't matter if they eat them because he
already bought them. Their statement is that someone has to care (Those are
MY boys!) to make up for those who don't. I believe it is those people who
truly care who will make the difference and be remembered for the fact that
they did care enough to take a stand and do what was ethical. Those who
don't.won't.

Jaye
