A supplementer would absolutely be appropriate! It would supply the milk
the twins need, keep them breast focused, and help mom feel successful
in breastfeeding! I've used the SNS with twins (one on each tube), or
two Lact-Aids at the same time. The Lact-Aid is thin enough that mom can
easily wear two if she breastfeeds simultaneously. Of course, you need
to observe the babies and make sure they can transfer milk from the
breast and tube, but if they can, a supplementer is ideal for protecting
breastfeeding and stimulating the breast appropriately.
