Most definitely a consideration. Does this mom have any other history that  
might include jaw fatigue during talking or singing, headaches, sinus 
issues or  snoring ( in a non-obese person)? If so she might be evaluated for a 
posterior  tongue tie, if she lives near someone who is skilled at that. I've 
seen a few  babies with restrictions whose one or both parents experienced 
some  combination of the above - they got relief after having their own 
frenulums  freed up... just a thought...
