I have a question for you to consider, how much..as in ounces, would you
guesstimate that a toddler would need to eat to gain the benefits of
immunities found in breastmilk? This question was asked by a very worried
mom, whose baby was very ill and in and out of the hospital her first year
of life with a serious gastrointestinal bug that really zapped her. She now,
is still nursing 2 times a day..and her mother is eager to know ~exactly~ as
in ounces, her little girl needs to consume to achieve the above. Does
anyone have any idea? I know Dr. Jack says that immunities are actually
higher the second year, but this did not technically answer her question.

Thank you,

Mary Anderson
