Does anyone have any experience with this situtaion? I recently encountered a mother with a history (5+ years ago) of breast ca in one breast with lumpectomy x2 and radiation. The other breast was unaffected. She was told that she would not produce milk from that breast and had only been pumping one breast. Baby is sick and in the NICU (and will be for a long time). Mom has other risk factors for decreased supply.

I encouraged her to pump both breasts to see what she might get.
Any feedback is appreciated.
Thanks.
