Hi All,
This morning had to take the boys to the ped (routine check-up...joy) and
talked to him about sending his BF moms to me if they have questions and
such.  He got his one nurse that talks to BF moms in with us and they were
SO happy to have someone else to refer to!  They took a bunch of my fliers
and bus cards, and asked if I knew where they could get some training stuff,
etc.  I then told them about Tom;s book and asked if they would like to have
my '97 copy, boy were they happy about that!  THey said they had been
looking for that sort of info, and that the PDR was of little help in most
cases, and too big to go through, etc.  THey then asked what med was the
most common med for moms NOT to take while BF and was the nicotoine patch OK
or not during BF.  (Seems they have a mom who wants to quit smoking!)
SO what do you all see as the most common med that a BF mom should NOT take,
and is the nicotine patch OK to use during BF?
