Susan, an interesting story. My question to the group is why are the medical
people not willing to do frenotomies any more?!
I hear from older pediatricians that they were done all the time then in the
recent past it was decided that they are not necessary any more...... Why???
A pediatrician I work with has been reluctant to have them clipped. I gave him
several articles on the subject, his response back was there needed to be more
research to prove they are helpful. I said back to him where is the research
that said they were not helpful and he could not answer my question why they
stopped doing them. I asked him to sight some material for me that is in the
argument for the other side. I'm still waiting.
All wise ones do any of you know of this literature? I would like to read it.
