Can anyone share with me the 'going rate' for a Lactation consultation?  Our hospital is relooking at the current amount we charge and would like some comparisons.  Does anyone charge more for an initial visit, less for subsequent ones?  Sorta like at the MD office...the first visit (new patient/new problem) is usually a higher office charge than the follow up visits (also usually less time involved too, which may not be the case with a lactation visit, I realize).
