Thanks to all for your suggestions. I got to this house expecting the
worst case scenario. I sneaked the babe into bed with mom (no, they do
not co-sleep) while she was still asleep. She latched right on and
nursed away!!! We did not use the shield. The only real problem I saw
was that baby "fidgets". She has her arms going all the time. Not
flailing, just moving, and in the process, pushs the breast away. I
don't think it's OAL.
I helped with the rebirthing bath, my first. It was OK. I will go back
on Friday for a f/u visit. I think this mom is just too busy. I hope
she will spend the next 2 days in bed with the baby.
Any ideas on the fidgety behavior?
