Our WIC uses Enfamil (and most moms choose lipil) and I see runny stools with babies getting it. They have more frequency and soft runny stools than prior formulas. When these new formulas came out I had several WIC moms mention that the stools were different with this baby than their last baby who got "regular" formula. Back then, moms thought this was too much and too loose for formula fed stools, but moms now think it is great since the lipil stools look "just like breastmilk stools". What is hard now is to detirmine if baby is getting enough breastmilk because even with a little lipil supplementation, baby has 2+ stools a day.
