Our hospital is currently researching the idea of
adding a certified lactation counsellor to our
lactation services program under my direction.  The
individual will not be required to be an RN but at
least have experience as a LLL, peer counsellor for
greater than 2 years, and obtain the certified
lactation counsellor requirement within 6-12 months.
Currently we are putting together a job description
but are having problems on pay scale.  If anyone has
any knowledge regarding this, please post to the
service or to me privately.
