Bo Loennerdal and others published a paper a couple years ago showing that
current iron levels in ABM are unnecessarily high. In the US a level of 12
mg/l is used and in Europe usually 7. A level of 2 was tested and found to
work as well. The danger they noted with excess iron was interference with
uptake of selenium and zinc I think. There may be other dangers, as well.
