Subject: Day 3 evaluation

Has anyone created a checklist or documentation/training for Pediatricians
to
help them meet the recommendation of the AAP's statement: ....

Jeanette,

Since noone has come forth with any info for you I'll mention that the new
4th edition of The Little Green Book of Breastfeeding Management that just
came out has a section on the first 100 hours so docs can know what signs to
look for and which ones not to put too much faith in - so they know when
[and how soon] they need to follow-up even after that 3 to 5 day visit. It's
not so much a checklist, more like a training guideline, because in addition
to the descriptive writing there are lists of questions to ask to evaluate
how the baby is doing. Maybe this would be helpful? Perhaps one of the
reviewers can comment.

Disclaimer: I have a financial interest in this book as the author and
publisher.
